Basement 

    The journey from the parking area to the office has become a special ritual that we look forward to every morning. As we walk together, we engage in conversations, share stories, and exchange insights about our internship experiences. This time allows us to strengthen our friendship, providing a support system and camaraderie that enhances our work environment.

Yummy Burger Hot Choco 

    The thoughtful gesture of offering us a tasty meal demonstrated the organization's commitment to our well-being and productivity. Recognizing the demands of coding and the need for sustenance, the provision of burgers and hot chocolate gave us an opportunity to refuel and recharge, both physically and mentally.

Unbothered

    Our collective dedication to our work creates an environment of deep concentration. Each intern is fully engaged in their tasks, their eyes fixed on the screens in front of them, and their fingers dancing across the keyboards with purpose and precision.

    The harmony of the clacking keyboards serves as a gentle reminder of the collective effort and determination that permeates the workspace. It is a testament to our shared commitment to delivering high-quality work and meeting the expectations set for us.

    Tasked with creating a user management table for the SPRS system, specifically designed for administrative use, I found myself faced with a formidable challenge that nearly brought me to the point of giving up. The objective was clear: enable the admin to efficiently manage user accounts by adding, editing, and deleting user information. To accomplish this, I embarked on a technological journey, weaving together the power of PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The intricate interplay between these languages allowed for the creation of a dynamic and visually appealing table. However, the complexity of the task was further amplified by the need to integrate the table with a MySQL database hosted on Xampp. This demanded meticulous attention to detail, rigorous testing, and continuous problem-solving. The intricacies of the task were undeniable, making it an arduous endeavor that could not be completed within a single day. Yet, through unwavering determination, perseverance, and an unwavering commitment to learning, I navigated the challenges and emerged triumphant. The experience not only honed my technical skills but also taught me invaluable lessons in resilience, patience, and problem-solving.

Let's get physical

    In a delightful twist during our internship, we were unexpectedly called upon to lend a helping hand with some physical work in the office. As our workplace primarily comprised women, we gladly seized the opportunity to offer our assistance. The task itself was relatively straightforward, and with our group consisting of five well-built guys, it felt like a piece of cake. Engaging in this physical activity provided a welcome break from our usual desk-bound routines, alleviating the discomfort that can arise from prolonged computer work. Amidst the lifting and moving, we lightened the atmosphere by sharing jokes and banter, allowing us to momentarily shift our focus from coding and problem-solving. This experience not only allowed us to support our colleagues but also fostered a sense of camaraderie and provided a refreshing change of pace within our internship journey.

New Day

    This small yet powerful gesture of placing my finger in the fingerprint scanner serves as a catalyst, sparking a mental shift and aligning my mindset with the tasks and responsibilities that await me. It evokes a sense of readiness, focus, and determination, enabling me to navigate the day's activities with purpose and enthusiasm.

Disorganize

    The apparent disarray is a reflection of the dynamic nature of our work. It symbolizes the process of ideation, collaboration, and problem-solving that unfolds on a daily basis. It shows that we are not afraid to immerse ourselves in the messy complexities of real-life challenges, seeking innovative ways to address them.

    Behind the clutter lies a team of dedicated individuals driven by a shared vision. Despite the visual chaos, there is an unspoken order and understanding among us. We navigate through the maze of wires and documents with ease, finding what we need at the precise moment it is required.

The rainbow we see every day

    While the aesthetics of the colorful code may initially catch our attention, we soon realize that behind every hue lies a meticulous process of crafting logic and functionality. Hours are spent meticulously selecting the right syntax, aligning brackets, and debugging to ensure the code performs as intended.

    The time-consuming nature of creating these colorful codes can be attributed to the inherent complexity of software development. Crafting a system that addresses real-life problems necessitates attention to detail, careful planning, and iterative refinement. We strive to strike a balance between the elegance of our code and its effectiveness in solving the challenges at hand.

Here's what we look like after a day of coding

    Behind the smiles of coders lies a multifaceted reality. While a sense of accomplishment shines through, it coexists with exhaustion, the coolness of air-conditioned environments, and the potential impact of screen radiation. This summary captures the complex emotions and experiences that accompany the internship journey. It emphasizes the importance of self-care and finding a balance between dedication and well-being to sustain joy and fulfillment in the process.

Front Office

    The experience of working in the front office provided a unique perspective outside our usual coding responsibilities. Interacting with clients allowed us to refine our communication skills and adapt our approach based on individual needs and preferences. We learned to navigate different personalities, respond to inquiries, and provide assistance with professionalism and empathy.

Livestream

    During the afternoon, our supervisor approached us with a request to set up their weekly livestream as he was occupied with other tasks. Although our primary responsibility was at the front office, we saw this as an opportunity to assist and broaden our skill set. With permission to temporarily leave our post, we gladly agreed to take on the task.

    Setting up the livestream required technical expertise and attention to detail. We collaborated closely, utilizing our knowledge of audiovisual equipment, streaming platforms, and troubleshooting techniques. From arranging cameras and lighting to configuring audio settings and ensuring a stable internet connection, we meticulously prepared the livestream for a seamless and engaging experience.

    As the week drew to a close, a new task was assigned to me, injecting a fresh wave of excitement and anticipation. I was tasked with creating an HTML form that would interact with a database, allowing users to add, edit, and delete rows of data. Furthermore, the form needed to have a final submission functionality. Although I only managed to lay the foundation of the form on this particular day, without the essential elements of CSS, Bootstrap, PHP, and JavaScript, I celebrated it as a significant progress.

    Recognizing progress, no matter how incremental, is crucial in the development journey. Each step forward brings us closer to the desired outcome. Although the form was not yet complete, its existence as a foundation laid the groundwork for future enhancements and refinements.
